This page includes photos of the building of the LEGO set Fortnite Rave Cave (77082).
This model was constructed in 2026. Included in the build is a coaster that descends from the start of the track at the top and completes one and one-quarter turn to arrive at the botton and drops off the track.
Exploring the model with an experiment
The question of would adding weight to the capsule cause it to descend faster or slower was asked and data was collected to explore the rate it descended as washers are added two at a time.
The capsule was nudged at the top to start its desent and timed until it dropped off the bottom end of the track. The timer was started with the push and stopped with the sound of it hitting the table below the bottom of the track.
The data recorded in the table shows a change in the time related to the number of washers.
The experiment was a trial run and the accuracy of timing got better toward the end of the experiment. Form more reliable data the experiment should be repeated and the timer and starter should practice about five tiems before beginning to record data.
That being said. The data does suggest that adding weight to the coaster increases its rate of descent for awhile and eventually reduces it.
